Little Bluff cabin cam, December 31 - this was the view looking back as Wilson and I headed up to the gallery for work the last time this year - here's hoping your 2023 was the best ever - and THANK YOU for being here!!

12/05/23 Did a quick hike yesterday evening to the base of the "Bee Bluff Pillars" (just upstream from the Steele Creek Campground, UPhill to the base of the bluff - no trail). We are into the very best season to hike in the High Ozarks - hope you get the chance to be outside and ENJOY!

12/10/23 A spectacular sunset from the back deck of our cabin - too bad all I had was my phone - not camera in sight! It was nice to just take a snapshot and then sit back and relax and enjoy for a few moments - light like this is fleeting so didn't last but a minute or two...

12/14/23 - I found a "hummingbird hammock" (nest) this morning that's been keeping an eye on the gallery - such a tiny nest, as are the adults.

12/18/23 For those who were wondering, here's the GIANT quilt that my lovely bride made for our daughter, Amber. Yesterday was Christmas at Grandma's - did I mention this quilt was HUGE!

12/20/23 This is what happens when a speeding truck (going about 10mph) goes by during a long exposure of a frozen pond next to Cave Mountain Road, about 5am yesterday.
